We writers are familiar with the term "Plot Bunny"; a plot bunny is a fluffy, adorable little piece of inspiration that either distracts us or saves our lives, depending on if we were working full-steam on our current novel, or had hit a wall. So as I was brainstorming ways to make money (for writers are starving artists as a general rule) I thought, "Why not make a literary-themed shop and sell quirky, whimsical things?" I consider this idea somewhat of a plot bunny itself since the creating of the items and the launching of the site took valuable writing-time, and so I had another brainstorming session:
Q: "Where would plot bunnies live?"
A: "In a warren, of course, same as a live bunny."
So The Warren was born and launched and here you'll find many items to inspire, adorn, and delight the writers in your life (or yourself, for that matter).
